Harding University to host men’s vocal ensemble group | Arts & Culture

SEARCY, Ark. — Harding University will host Cantus, a men’s vocal ensemble group, Jan. 16 at 7 p.m. in the Administration Auditorium.
Based out of the Minneapolis and St. Paul area, Cantus is made up of nine members that travel the country performing numbers covering many periods and genres, including chant, Renaissance, contemporary, folk, spiritual, world and pop. Along with their U.S. tour, they have also performed throughout Canada, West Africa and Europe.
Their performance at Harding will feature music of composers from the romantic era, such as Franz Schubert and Felix Mendelssohn, in addition to more current pieces from U2, Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney.
